Thomson’s Block is an elevated, north-facing hillside vineyard located on Roys Hill behind the winery. A sheltered site, it is warm during the day but cool at night due to the air draining onto the plains below. This allows the grapes to develop maximum aroma and flavour while preserving natural acidity, the key ingredients for premium grapes.
