Last week, the International Wine and Spirits Challenge gathered members of their wine judging committee to re-taste all the 2022 gold medal winning wines, selecting only 20 wines as trophy winners - including Trinity Hill’s Single Vineyard 125 Gimblet Chardonnay 2020!​​​​​​​​

The IWSC judges noted of the wine, "A lovely and inviting wine whose crisp, multi-layered palate shows a beautiful balance of smoky, toasty oak over flavours of fleshy yellow and tropical fruits and a preserved lemon zip. Long, concentrated and complex."​​​​​​​​

Last Friday, Trinity Hill received the IWC Sustainable Trophy 2022 🌱

We’re proud to be a part of the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand programme (SWNZ), a proactive management system that facilitates high-quality wine production using sustainable practices in the vineyard and winery. SWNZ certifies all parts of the production chain including vineyards, wineries, bottling facilities, and brands. Continuously improving in these areas allows us to preserve our most valuable assets – our land and people – while having the lowest possible impact on the environment and human health.

Today, over 90% of the wine produced in New Zealand is processed in SWNZ certified facilities. This level of industry-wide participation in a sustainability scheme is a massive point of difference for wine produced in New Zealand.
