The wine has a beautiful golden colour and great depth. The aromas are reminiscent of honey and crystallized fruit. The botrytis influence has a large effecton the flavour profile, complemented by typical Viognier hints of citrus blossom and jasmine. The wine is very luscious and concentrated, with powerful flavours of dried fruits, particularly apricot. The finish is very long and although the residual sugar level is high, the finish is relatively dry with no cloying sweetness as sometimes can be apparent with this style of wine.
