About Silky Oak:

A 100% New Zealand owned family business, founded in January 2000. Silky Oak Chocolates purchased Kramer’s Chocolates (circa 1959), and have since developed a proud reputation for producing exquisite handmade couverture (real) chocolates, using traditional methods.

In February 2023, Silky Oak's Shop was badly damaged in the wake of cyclone Gabrielle. Since the recovery began the team has been hard at work and has opened a pop-up shop 10am-3pm daily at their original site.
